Information on switching to acclerated

If an AP student wishes to switch to accelerated status, they must submit the course change form to Dr. Heffernan. You must complete this within the first three days of the semester OR before FRIDAY September 14, 2018. If you do not submit in the first few days of school you will remain in AP status in the class until the schedule change is implemented on 9/14/18. An accelerated student may not switch to AP status.

A student switching to accelerated will remain in the class with the other students, but their transcript will show "Accelerated US history" not "AP US history." If you have questions on this, please stop by my classroom or visit with me before or after class.
